ABG Fastena acquires green community service property

Published on June 21, 2021

ABG Fastena acquires a newly built and BREEAM certified community service property from Trianon for approximately SEK 430 million. The property was built by NCC in 2019 and houses tenants within the community service sector such as the City of Malmö, Region Skåne, Kirurgicentrum and Coop. The lettable area amounts to approximately 7,600 square metres, in addition to a garage of roughly 350 parking spaces. The WAULT exceeds nine years. This is ABG Fastena’s third acquisition – this time within the firm’s community service investment platform.

“We are very pleased to acquire this strategically located property in a growing area like Limhamn. The property is a central point for community services for many residents”, says Andreas Birgersson, CEO of ABG Fastena. “Particularly gratifying is the high sustainability standard – in addition to the BREEAM certification, the property also exhibits ecological aspects. We would happily acquire more properties in Malmö and Skåne.”

“An attractive deal with all prerequisites to stand the test of time. It is also rewarding that we are growing our real estate portfolio through a new investment platform.”, says Philip Söderqvist, Head of Investment at ABG Fastena.

“This is a good example of a deal that is characterised by predictable and stable cash flow, which suits us perfectly”, says Per Nisses, Head of Investor Relations at ABG Fastena.

Closing is scheduled to 30 June.
